LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV baseball program will host alumni weekend February 11th and 12th, kicking off the 2011 season with several events over the course of the weekend before the home opener.

On Friday, February 11, alumni and friends can meet the new coaching staff and catch up with former teammates and friends at a social hour hosted at The Bar from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., located at 11624 Bermuda on the corner intersecting with St. Rose.

The alumni game will be held Saturday, Feb. 12 at Wilson Stadium. Batting practice will be available to all players participating starting at 10:30 a.m. with first pitch scheduled for noon.

The Rebels will open the season on Feb. 18 at Wilson Stadium at 6:05 p.m. against the University of Maine. The four-game series will feature a double header on Saturday, Feb. 19, followed by a single game on Sunday.
