LAS VEGAS - The 29th-ranked UNLV women's tennis team did not lose a set en route to posting a 7-0 victory over Weber State at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on Saturday.

The Lady Rebels (2-0) began the morning by sweeping three doubles matches for one team point. Nives Pavlovic and Anna Maskaljun won 8-1 at the top of the lineup; 58th-ranked Jana Albers and Adrienn Hidvegi won by the same score at the second position and Rumyana Terzieva and Ella Bourchier won 8-0 on court three.

UNLV did not allow an opposing player reach even three games in singles play.

Pavlovic eased by Naseem Eslami, 6-2, 6-2, at the No. 1 spot; Albers won 6-0, 6-2 over Brittiny Moore at No. 2; Hidvegi won 6-1, 6-0 over Annika Karlsen at No. 3; Maskaljun won by the same score over Michelle Warwick at No. 4; Terzieva also won 6-1, 6-0 over Kristi Russell at No. 5; and Bourchier whitewashed Mandee Miller at the bottom of the lineup, 6-0, 6-0.

UNLV returns to action Sunday by hosting Pacific starting with doubles at 10 a.m. Admission is free of charge.
