Boise State Game Notes

-On Boise State's second possession, Kellen Moore completed four of five passes for 43 yards before tossing a two-yard scoring pass to tight end Gabe Linehan. The 43 passing yards for Moore moves him into ninth place on the NCAA career passing yard list with 12,920 yards pasing Dan LeFevour of Central Michigan who passes for 12,905 yards during his career (2006-09). The touchdown pass was the 124th of Moore's career. Moore is fourth all-time for scoring passes. Colt Brennan of Hawaii is third with 131.

-Tyrone Crawford sacked UNLV quarterback Caleb Herring in the second quarter for his team high 5.5 sack of the season. Crawford also had a team 9.5 tackles for loss this year.

-Moore's 30-yard touchdown pass to Matt Miller in the second quarter marked the 21st straight game that Moore has thrown multiple touchdown passes. This is the longest active streak in the country. Moore has thrown multiple TDs in 41 of this 48 career games. This was also Moore's 125th career touchdown pass.

-Moore was sacked in the second quarter for only the third time this season, and only the fourth time a Bronco quarterback has been sacked in 2010. Boise State entered the game ranked second in the country for the fewest sacks allowed with a 0.43 per-game mark.

-Late in the first half, Moore became just the eighth quarterback in NCAA history to throw for over 13,000 yards in a career. Moore ended the first half with 142 yards to boost his career total to 13,019, passing Kevin Kolb of Houston (2003-06) who had 12,964 career yards.

-Moore completed this third touchdown pass of the game late in the first half marking the 29th time Moore has had three or more scoring passes in a game. Matt Miller was on the end of Moore's scoring pass marking the first time in Miller's career he has caught two touchdown passes in a game.

-Nine different Bronco receivers caught passes in the first half meaning eight or more receivers have caught passes in each game this season. The season high is 11 against Air Force. Nine or more receivers have also caught passes in six other games this season.

-Boise State blocked its kick of the season, and the fourth punt of the year, when Byron Hout blocked a UNLV punt in the second quarter. This is the most blocked kicks in a season for the Broncos since they blocked 11 kicks in 2007. This is also the fourth straight game Boise State has come up with a blocked kick. The streak started on Oct. 7 with a blocked punt against Fresno State, followed by a blocked punt and extra point against Colorado State on Oct. 15, and a blocked extra point against Air Force on Oct. 22.

-Moore connected with Tyler Shoemaker on a 51-yard touchdown pass midway through the third quarter for Moore's fourth TD of the game. This marks the ninth time in his career Moore has had a game with four or more touchdown passes. The scoring catch by Shoemaker is his 10th of the season tying him for seventh on the Bronco season list for touchdown receptions in a season. The season record is 14 set by Austin Pettis in 2009.

-Moore completed a five-yard pass to Tyler Shoemaker for Moore's fifth touchdown pass of the game, tying his career high. This is Moore's 128th scoring pass and the fifth time in his career he has had five or more TD passes in a game. It was also Shoemaker's 11th touchdown reception of the year moving him into a four-way tie for fourth on the Bronco season list. Shoemaker now has 102 yards in the game marking the third time this year, and the fifth in his career to go over the century mark in a game for receiving yards.

-At the start of the fourth quarter Shea McClellin had a career high eight tackles in the game.

-DJ Harper scored on a 36-yard run early in the fourth quarter to put him over the century mark for rushing in a game at 109 yards. This is the first 100-yard plus rushing game for Harper since he rushed for 107 yards against Fresno State in 2009. His career single game high is 153 also against Fresno State in 2007.
