UNLV Heads To Chicago To Play No. 19 Illinois

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - After playing at home at the Thomas & Mack Center for the first time in 22 days on Wednesday - a 65-54 win over UTEP - the UNLV men's basketball team will head back out on the road for its seventh game away from the Thomas & Mack out of its last eight. The Runnin' Rebels will play No. 19 Illinois at the United Center in Chicago on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 4 p.m. CST/2 p.m. PST. The game is a rematch of last year's NCAA Tournament Second Round matchup, which Illinois won 73-62 in Tulsa, Okla. Saturday's game will be will be televised live by the Big Ten Network with Wayne Larrivee and Shon Morris calling the action. Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the UNLV radio broadcast, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM. The radio broadcast is also available at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature, while Gametracker is provided for free on the website. After being ranked 18th in the country by the Associated Press and 20th in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' poll Nov. 28, the Runnin' Rebels are receiving votes in both polls for the second straight week.
