Cal State Northridge Game Notes
LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Coming off its third series sweep of 2011, the UNLV baseball team will hit the road, traveling to Northridge, Calif., for an afternoon matinee with Cal State Northridge at Matador Field.
The Rebels and Matadors will be meeting for the 50th time in series history, with CSUN holding a slight 25-24 edge. UNLV will be looking for its first win at Matador Field since the 2007 season-opener when they were a 10-4 winner.
Righty Scott Dysinger will make his third start of the season. Dysinger enters the game with a 2-1 record. The Rebels are in the midst of a five-game winning streak, having downed No. 14 Arizona last Wednesday before sweeping Valparaiso over the weekend.
First pitch is slated for 3 p.m. at Matador Field.
