Utah Game Notes
LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com)
- The UNLV baseball team will hit the road for the second straight weekend, traveling to Salt Lake City, Utah for a three-game set this weekend with the University of Utah.

The Rebels (18-9, 1-5 Mountain West) are coming off a week of highs and lows. UNLV knocked off No. 11 UC Irvine last Wednesday, marking the third ranked opponent they have defeated this season. Following the win, the Rebels dropped three straight to New Mexico in Albuquerque, marking the first time this season they had lost three in a row and been swept in a weekend series.

The Utes (11-9, 4-1 Mountain West) currently sit atop the MWC standings and are winners of their last four games. This weekend will feature two of the conference's top power hitters in Brandon Bayardi and C.J. Cron. Cron, a two-time MWC Player of the Week honoree leads the Utah offense with a .474 clip and five home runs while Bayardi is tied for fifth nationally with eight home runs, including a grand slam and walk-off already this season.

First pitch Friday night is set for 5 p.m. ET at Spring Mobile Park. Saturday and Sunday will both get underway at 12 p.m. PT.
