LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV wide receiver Brandon Babineaux has been suspended indefinitely, head coach Bobby Hauck announced Friday.

"Brandon failed to live up to his academic responsibilities so he is suspended from being a part of this team," Hauck said.

Babineaux, who would be a sophomore in the fall, earned his first letter as a Rebel in 2010 by playing in two games.

Friday marks the end of the first week of spring practice for the Rebels.
