The annual event raises awareness, connects men on the UNLV campus interested in violence prevention and provides opportunities for male students to speak with other men about the importance of their role in stopping sexual and dating violence.
Staff and athletes from UNLV's men's soccer, football and basketball programs teamed with the Women's Center and pledged to increase awareness on the resources available to men and women who would like to know more about domestic violence and prevention.
"Our SAAC, athletes and coaches felt that it was important to become involved in our university's effort to prevent domestic violence," said Eric Toliver, Sr. Associate Athletics Director. "The Jean Nidetch Women's Center does amazing things for our community and we just wanted to be a part of their endeavors."
