LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV's women's tennis squad qualified again for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's All-Academic Team Award, the sport's governing body announced this week.
The Lady Rebels were included for the 14th time in the last 16 years.
A pair of players also earned the additional honor of being an ITA Scholar-Athlete. Head coach Kevin Cory's program was represented by Ella Bourchier and Rumyana Terzieva.
The ITA team award is open to any program that has a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or above.
In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must be a varsity letterwinner, have a GPA of at least 3.50 for the current academic year and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.
