LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -
The UNLV women's basketball team has been road warriors for the past three weeks, as Saturday's game against New Mexico in The Pit, 1 pm (PT) start time, will be the fifth road game in the last seven for UNLV. The Lady Rebels won three of those four games, with the lone loss a four-point setback at Arizona. Two of the three wins were in Mountain West play, helping UNLV remain in second place in the league with a 2-1 mark.

To stay within reach of first place San Diego State (3-0), UNLV needs a win on Saturday, but will be facing a Lobo squad that is also looking for a victory after dropping their first three of the MW season. One factor on the Lady Rebels' side is their recent history in The Pit, as UNLV has won two straight on the Lobos' home court.
A win would also give UNLV 15 victories on the season, which would be the most for the Lady Rebels since the 2005-06 season (18 wins), with 10 more games left on the regular season schedule.
