LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -
Wednesday's women's basketball home contest (tip at 7 pm) against Boise State will be the first meeting between UNLV and the Broncos as conference members, as BSU is in its first-year in the Mountain West. However, this will not be the first game between the two in the Cox Pavilion, as the teams have faced off twice before over the past six years, and the Broncos winning both games.

This is only the third home game of the month for UNLV, which has played three of its four conference games on the road, all Lady Rebel victories (at Wyoming, at TCU, at New Mexico). Boise State meanwhile is playing its second road game after opening with three of its first four at home. UNLV is 7-3 this season in the Cox Pavilion, while BSU is 3-3 in road games.
If the Lady Rebels win on Wednesday night, it would give them 16 wins for the season, which would clinch the first winning season for the program in six years. The 15 victories are already the most for UNLV since the 2005-06 squad finished at 18-13. A win would also put UNLV at 4-1 in the MW, its best start since starting out 4-0 in 2003-04.
