LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The No. 17 UNLV men's basketball team has won its last six games and seven of its last eight after a memorable 124-75 victory over Central Arkansas at the Thomas & Mack Center and a 74-69 win at Hawaii last week. The Runnin' Rebels (15-2) are off to their best start to a season since 1992-93 and are tied for first in the country in wins. UNLV will travel to Bakersfield, Calif., this week for its final non-conference game of the season. The Runnin' Rebels will face CSU Bakersfield on Thursday, Jan. 5, at Rabobank Arena at 7 p.m. The game will not be televised. Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the UNLV radio broadcast, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM. The radio broadcast is also available at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature, while Gametracker is provided for free on the website.
