LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - A Memorial Celebration of Life for former Rebel football player Bryan Peter Chomko will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV. The memorial will be from 11 am - 2 pm, and is open to the public.

Chomko, a defensive back for the UNLV football team on the 1990 squad, passed away on Sept. 19 of this year, at the age of 44.

It is also being announced that in collaboration with Director of Athletics Jim Livengood and UNLV Head Coach Bobby Hauck, a perpetual scholarship fund is being established, with the hope that the Bryan Chomko Memorial Scholarship will be used for worthy UNLV defensive backs.
