Bobby Hauck Radio Show Moves To Daytime

Aug. 28, 2012

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The "Bobby Hauck Radio Show" will debut Wednesday at its new time -- 11 a.m. to noon -- on ESPN 1100 AM and 98.9 FM.

"We think moving the show from evenings to around lunch time will mean even more fans can tune in this year," said Eric Kovac, General Manager of IMG College at UNLV, which is the athletics department's multimedia rights holder. "It's at a great time of day for sports radio listeners and also gives fans a chance to come down and enjoy the show in person, meet the coach and have some lunch."

For the second consecutive year the show will originate from Born And Raised Tavern & Lounge (7260 S. Cimarron Road, Las Vegas) -- The Official Home of the Rebels on the Road.

The show will not only sport a new time, but also feature some fresh voices as new UNLV football play-by-play announcer Russ Langer and ESPN Radio's Dave Cokin will join Coach Hauck on the air each week. UNLV radio analyst Mike Pritchard and UNLV Athletics' Marques Pfaff will also contribute to the show this season.

The "Bobby Hauck Radio Show" runs from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. each Wednesday of the football season beginning Aug. 29, unless otherwise announced. The Rebels kick off their season Thursday by hosting Minnesota at 8 p.m. at Sam Boyd Stadium.
