LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV men's basketball head coach Dave Rice will visit Frank J. Lamping Elementary on Friday, Sept. 21, at 8:15 a.m. to congratulate its PTA and students for earning the title of top fundraiser for the 2011-12 academic year of the "It's About Time" program.

The "It's About Time" program was established through a partnership with UNLV Athletics and Nevada PTA and allows members to offer discounted men's basketball and football tickets for select games to parents, teachers, staff and supporters, while a portion of the proceeds from each ticket are donated back to the school. The program aims to encourage parents and loved ones to spend time with the children in their lives.
