LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV baseball held its annual Halloween game at Earl E. Wilson Stadium on Thursday. Highlights of the festivities can be seen here via the UNLV Athletics' YouTube page.

The Gray team beat the Scarlet team 4-2 and earned a one-run advantage in the first game of the Scarlet/Gray World Series, which will be played on Friday at 8:30 a.m.

"The Scarlet team couldn't match the Gray team from an energy or strategic standpoint," associate head coach Stan Stolte said. "I thought the Gray team was better prepared and executed much better. Overall it was a really fun day and it was nice to see all the guys take it serious."

Friday will be the first of the three game series in the Scarlet/Gray World Series. John Richy will start for the Scarlet team, while Kenny Oakley will get the nod for the Gray team.

Admission is free and fans are encouraged to attend.
