LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Four UNLV football players have been named 2013 Preseason All-Mountain West by Athlon Sports, the publication announced Tuesday.

Senior place-kicker Nolan Kohorst (Henderson, Nev.), who led the Rebels in scoring a year ago after hitting 12 of his 14 field-goal attempts, was a member of the first team. Senior running back Tim Cornett (Galena Park, Texas), who is 701 yards away from becoming the school's career rushing king, was named to the second team. Junior wide receiver Devante Davis (Galena Park, Texas), who led the team with 61 catches for 854 yards last fall, was on the third team, as was junior offensive tackle Brett Boyko (Saskatoon, Sask).

UNLV opens the 2013 season by making its first-ever trip to play the University of Minnesota on Thursday, Aug. 29. The Rebels will kick off their seven-game home schedule by welcoming the University of Arizona for the first time on Saturday, Sept. 7.
