All About The Rebels
UNLV is back in the drivers' seat in the WAC after its second weekend road sweep of the season, wins at Incarnate Word and Houston Baptist. Sitting at 6-1 in league play, the Rebels need to only win one of their final three games to clinch the top seed in next month's WAC Tournament. Currently UNLV holds an eight-point lead over the rest of the field (as Incarnate Word is ineligible for this year's event).

Playing their final two home games of the season this weekend, if the Rebels sweep both games they will also clinch at least a share of the regular season championship, which would be the first for UNLV since 1987 (Big West). Currently the Rebels' 12 wins are tied for the seventh most in school history, and ties for the second most in the nation, just one win behind NCAA leader Syracuse (13).

The Rebels will begin the weekend looking for a second straight home win over Bakersfield, who comes in on a four-game losing streak, while Sunday will be Senior Day for UNLV against San Jose State. Seven Rebels will be playing their final home game in the Scarlet and Gray, and will be honored prior to the game.
