LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's soccer team will be officially recognized by the Las Vegas City Council at their Wednesday, Dec. 3 meeting, that will be held at the City Hall.

Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman will present a proclamation to UNLV Head Coach Rich Ryerson, Director of Athletics Tina Kunzer-Murphy, and the entire team during the council meeting, which will begin following the 8:30 a.m. Redevelopment Agency meeting in City Hall council chambers, located at 495 S. Main St.

Ryerson guided the team to its' first NCAA tournament appearance since 1988. The Rebels finished the 2014 season with a record of 14-5-3, and won their first conference championships since 1987, the WAC regular season and tournament titles.
