LAS VEGAS (AP) Marqueze Coleman hit a jumper with 5.2 seconds left to give Nevada, Reno a 64-62 victory over UNLV on Wednesday night for its first road win of the season.

A.J. West led Nevada, Reno (6-8, 2-0 Mountain West) with 15 points and 15 rebounds. Eric Cooper finished with 12 points and Coleman added six on 2-of-9 shooting.

Rashad Vaughn led all scorers with 20 points for UNLV (9-6, 0-2), while Christian Wood added 17. The Runnin' Rebels were outrebounded 47-39.

Nevada, Reno has now won three straight over the Runnin' Rebels for the fourth time in school history.

The Wolf Pack swept the series last season, snapping an eight-game losing streak to the Runnin' Rebels. It was the first time the Wolf Pack swept a regular-season series from UNLV since the 1994-95 campaign.
