LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's soccer team had three players named to the 2014 Academic all-WAC team, as the fall sports teams were announced by the league office on Thursday.

Two players were repeat selections, senior defender Kyle Mellies and junior forward Corey Ackley, both natives of Las Vegas. Mellies received his third career academic honor after earning Academic All-MPSF honors in 2012. He was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America second team after the season.

The third player on the conference academic squad is junior defender Bradley Kamdem, a native of Paris, France.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
