MAUI, Hawaii (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV men's basketball will open the Maui Jim Maui Invitational against UCLA on Monday, Nov. 23 at 6:30 p.m. HT/8:30 p.m. PT at the Lahaina Civic Center in Lahaina, Hawaii.

UCLA (2-1) opened the season losing in overtime to Monmouth, 84-81, but the Bruins have bounced back to with their last two games. UCLA beat Cal Poly 88-83 on Nov. 15 and Pepperdine 81-67 on Nov. 19.

UNLV (3-0) opened the season with three home games and most recently beat Southern Utah 84-64 on Nov. 18. Patrick McCaw led the way and finished with a career-high 24 points. He also finished with four rebounds, three assists and three steals. Derrick Jones Jr. (19), Jerome Seagears (11) and Stephen Zimmerman Jr. (11) also finished in double digits. Zimmerman Jr. pulled down 10 rebounds, giving him his second double-double of the season.

On Nov. 16, the Runnin' Rebels cruised to a 107-45 win over New Mexico Highlands. Jalen Poyser led the way with 16 points and Zimmerman Jr. added a double-double, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Jones Jr. (14), Ike Nwamu (12), Seagears (12) and McCaw (11) all finished the game in double digits.

Monday's game will be shown on ESPN2 with Sean McDonough and Fran Faschilla calling the action. Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the radio call, which may be heard live on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/100.9 FM. All internet links along with live stats will be available at UNLVRebels.com.
