UNLV Faces UTEP, LBSU In Beach Classic...
The Lady Rebels continue their month-long schedule away from home with a pair of games in this weekend's Beach Classic, which will also finish off the non-conference portion of their schedule. UNLV brings a 7-2 mark and a two-game road win streak into the weekend, but have a tough challenge ahead. The Lady Rebels' first opponent, UTEP on Saturday night, is 8-0 this season and is receiving votes in this week's Top 25 AP Poll. Long Beach State, the host of the event, is 7-3 on the year, 3-1 at home, and have the advantage of playing UNLV with an extra day of rest. The 49ers will first play UTEP on Friday night and then have off until their Sunday game with the Lady Rebels.
