LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV baseball (6-2) completed its four-game sweep of Pacific (0-8) on Monday with an 11-1 victory at Earl E. Wilson Stadium.
In the game, the Rebels tallied a season-high 13 hits to score 11 runs and stole seven bases, which ranks tied for the third most stolen bases in a single game in program history.
Freshman
Payton Squier tallied three stolen bases, which is tied for fourth most in school history, and was perfect from the plate, going 3-for-3 to lead UNLV offensively. He also finished with two runs score and three RBI in the game. Fellow freshman
Nick Rodriguez was the only other Rebel to have multiple hits in the game, as he finished 2-for-2 with two runs scored and an RBI. He was also drew two walks.
Freshman
Blaze Bohall made his first career start for UNLV, and despite only pitching 4.0 innings, he earned the win because he was on a strict pitch count. Bohall allowed no runs on three hits and struck three while walking two.

Cody Roper all made relief appearances for the Rebels.
UNLV got on the board in the first inning with one run and added three more in the second to take a 4-0 lead over the Tigers. The Rebels added two more runs in each the fourth and fifth innings before Pacific scored its lone run in the top of the sixth inning. UNLV concluded its scoring with three runs in the seventh inning.
The Rebels improve to 6-1 at home this season and are 29-6 in Las Vegas dating back to last season.
UNLV will have a couple days off before diving into Mountain West play at Fresno State on Friday. The Rebels and Bulldogs will play three games and then UNLV will be off to Oklahoma State for two midweek games before returning to Las Vegas. UNLV's next home stand will March 6-8 as the Rebels host instate rival Nevada, Reno.

This season at Earl E. Wilson Stadium, fans will enjoy a new and improved concession stand. Smoken Sams catering will be providing entrees that range from barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers to nachos, chicken fingers and fries. A variety of beverages will also be available.
