COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV junior Lucas James finished up competition at the 2015 NCAA Men's Diving Zone E Championships on Wednesday night at the Air Force Academy. James' final competition of the season saw him place 17th on the platform, giving him three top-25 finishes for the three-day event.

James first scored 274.65 in the preliminaries to secure a spot in the finals. There he would tally a score of 549.55 to tank in 17th place. Divers had to finish in the top eight of their event to qualify for the NCAA Championship meet, held at the end of the month in Iowa City, Iowa.
