April 11, 2015 TEMPE, Ariz. (UNLVRebels.com) -- No. 14 UNLV women's golf is 14th after the second round of the PING/ASU Invitational on Saturday. The Rebels sit at 14-over-par 590 (296-294) at the par-72, 6,233-yard, ASU Karsten Golf Course.
Arizona leads all teams as the Wildcats sit at 12-under 564 (288-276) heading into the final round. South Carolina is second at 4-under 572 (288-284), Texas is third at 2-under 574 (291-283) and Stanford is fourth at 1-under 575 (288-287). Southern California rounds out the top-five and is at even-par 576 (289-287).
Freshman Harley Dubsky leads the Rebels and is in a four-way tie for third on the individual leaderboard. She turned in a second-rounds score of 2-under 70 and is 5-under 139 (69-70) for the tournament, one shot off the lead.
Southern California's Annie Park (71-67) and Arizona State's Monica Vaughn (69-69) are tied for first at 6-under 138.
Also competing for the Rebels is senior Dana Finkelstein, who is tied for 42nd at 4-over 148 (75-73). Sophomore Avery French is tied for 63rd at 6-over 150 (77-73), freshman Mackenzie Raim is tied for 74th at 9-over 153 (75-78) and Mayko Chwen Wang is 87th at 19-over 163 (84-79).
The 15 teams and 87 individuals will play the third round on Sunday. UNLV will be paired with San Diego State and Oklahoma for the final round and the teams will tee off at 8:06.
