May 15, 2015 LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Nearly 70 current and former UNLV student-athletes are eligible to take part in Saturday's annual Spring Commencement Ceremonies at the Thomas & Mack Center on campus.
The list includes Rebels who wrapped up their course work this semester as well as those on track to complete their degrees during the summer sessions.
Some graduates, including four of the 17 football players on the list, have remaining eligibility and will compete for their respective teams again next season while pursuing either a master's or second bachelor's degree.
Overall, more than 2,700 UNLV undergraduate, graduate and professional students are eligible to participate in this year's Spring Commencement Ceremonies, which are split into two sessions beginning at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The grads range in age from 19 to 68 and hail from 38 states and 54 countries.
Since 1964, UNLV has awarded more than 115,000 degrees. This will be the first commencement (#UNLVGrad) under new UNLV President Len Jessup.
The UNLV Athletics Department congratulates the Class of 2015!
