UNLV Game Notes vs. Grand Canyon
UNLV men's soccer is happy to be playing at home again when it takes on Grand Canyon on Friday night at 7 pm at Peter Johann Memorial Field. There will be a free tailgate party with free food and drinks before the game starting at 5 pm, and this week it will feature live music by Little Dynamite. Tickets for the game at $5 if bought online at UNLVRebels.com, or $8 at the gate, while kids 12 and under are free to UNLV soccer contests.
The Rebels have had good success at home in league play this season, having outscored its two opponents by a 7-1 margin. Grand Canyon has been strong on defense in 2016, allowing just 14 goals this season. However, GCU has had its own troubles on offense, having scored just 14 as well. That includes its current six-game stretch in which it has been held to one or less goal five times.
UNLV's game on Friday will be streamed live on the Mountain West Network, available online on UNLVRebels.com as well as on the Roku and Apple TV steaming devices.
