The UNLV men's basketball team (3-1), which has won three straight games, will welcome seven other teams to the Thomas & Mack Center on Friday and Saturday as it hosts the Global Sports Classic. There are four games scheduled each day starting at 11 a.m.

The Runnin' Rebels will face TCU (4-0) on Friday, Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m., then will face either Washington or Western Kentucky on Saturday at either 5 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. The two winners from Friday will face off in the tournament's championship on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., while the losers will play in the consolation game at 5 p.m. (Saturday).

In their third straight victory, UNLV defeated Northern Arizona (110-71) on Tuesday. Six Runnin' Rebel players scored in double figures, while a total of 11 got into the scoring column. Sophomore guard Jalen Poyser led the way with 17 points on 8 of 15 from the field and dished out a career-high-tying six assists, while senior guard Uche Ofoegbu had a career-high eight assists. UNLV had 26 assists on the night with just nine turnovers and scored 110 against a Division I team for the first time since 2011.

The Horned Frogs have won each of their first four games of the season and are coming off an 80-71 victory over Illinois State on Monday. Four TCU players scored in double figures in that contest, led by junior forward Vladimir Brodziansky's 24 points. Junior guard Kenrich Williams recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. The Horned Frogs have seven players that are averaging double figures in scoring.
