After beginning the season on the road last weekend, UNLV will play its home opener this weekend as it welcomes Cal State Fullerton, UC Riverside and Santa Clara to Las Vegas for the Johann Memorial Classic. This tournament, in its third year, is named in honor of Peter and Ken Johann, the later which passed away this past December after over 30 years as the biggest supporter of UNLV men's soccer in the history of the program.
Tickets from the weekend are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, or $5 if bought online at UNLVTickets.com before Friday afternoon. Kids 12 and under are always free at UNLV games. Any fan with a ticket will also receive free admission to the UNLV Soccer Foundation Tailgate, which features free food and drinks and opens two hours before each home UNLV men's soccer contest.
Both of the Rebels' games this weekend will be streamed live on the Mountain West Network, and available through links on UNLVRebels.com. Tyler Bischoff returns for his third year as play-by-play announcer on the Rebel broadcasts.

UNLV is looking to win its home opener for the fifth straight year, though its last win over the Titans was in the 2008 season. The series between the Rebels and UC Riverside is tied at 6-6, while UNLV having won the last meeting 2-0 in Las Vegas in 2014.
On both Friday and Sunday nights, following the Rebel contest, Santa Clara will then take the field, to face UC Riverside on Sept. 2 at 9 pm, and Cal State Fullerton on Sept. 4, also at 9 pm.
