Sept. 19, 2016 LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -
For the first time since 2004 the UNLV men's soccer team will play a mid-week game, as they host San Diego from the West Coast Conference on Tuesday night at 7 pm at Peter Johann Memorial Field. Tickets are just $2 for anyone wearing red to the game, while kids 12 and under are free to UNLV soccer contests. As for all UNLV home men's soccer games, there will be a tailgate party with free food and drinks starting at 5 pm, thanks to the UNLV Soccer Foundation.
Both teams are looking for a win following 2-0 losses, with UNLV dropped to Oregon State on Saturday night while UC Riverside handed USD a 2-0 loss on Sept. 15. That was the second time in three games the Toreros have been shutout, while UNLV was held without a goal for the first time all season in the loss to OSU.
UNLV's game on Tuesday will be streamed live on the Mountain West Network, the digital network of the MW, and will be available through links on UNLVRebels.com.
