Two-Game Road Trip To California

Sept. 8, 2016

MORAGA, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) -

For the second time in three weeks the Rebels will play a pair of games on the road, as they take off for the Golden State to face West Coast Conference schools Pacific on Friday night and Saint Mary's on Sunday afternoon.
UNLV has split its action the past two weekends, both times winning the match on Sunday after dropping the Friday night game. The Rebels will be taking on a Pacific team that is 2-1 at home this year, while the Gaels are looking for their first win of the season, though its taken on a very tough early schedule.
The Rebels' youth has been coming up big early in the season, as both of the goals in Sunday's win over UC Riverside came from true freshman. Of the team's 19 points this season, 10 have come from the freshmen class, and another three from the newcomers.
Both of the Rebels' games this weekend will be streamed live on TheW.tv, the digital network of the WCC, and will be available through links on UNLVRebels.com.
