LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The 45th-ranked UNLV women's tennis team blanked Bradley 7-0 on Monday afternoon at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The Rebels improved to 9-5 while the Braves fell to 7-5.

UNLV began the day by winning all three doubles matches to secure the team point. Aiwen Zhu and En-Pei Huang defeated Natalia Barbery and Ashley Thai 6-4 at No. 1; Carol Yang and Cristina Moroi beat Aimee Manfredo and Ariel Dechter 6-3 at No. 2 while Paola Artiga and Anna Bogoslavets cruised by Malini Wijesinghe and Alexa Brandt 6-1 on court three.

In singles, the Rebels won all six matches to secure the shutout. Zhu got by Dechter 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1; Huang beat Alejandra de Lasa 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2; Bogoslavets rolled past Barbery 6-1, 6-4 on court three; Artiga blanked Brandt 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4; Jovana Kenic got by Manfredo 6-4, 6-3 at No. 5 and Mercedes Lopez defeated Wijesinghe 7-5, 0-6, 1-0 (10-7) on court six.

UNLV will return to the courts Wednesday to host Washington State starting with doubles at 10:30 a.m. PT. Admission is free of charge.
