IOWA CITY, Iowa (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV Baseball, which opens its three-game, nonconference series in Iowa Friday at 4:05 pm CT (2:05 pm PT), has had its weekend schedule altered due to a 90 percent chance of rain Sunday. The Rebels and Hawkeyes will now play a doubleheader at Duane Banks Field Saturday with the first contest scheduled for 12:05 pm CT (10:05 am PT). The second affair of the double dip will take place approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of game one.

All three contests, as of now, will be streamed online via video through the Big Ten Network’s Big Ten Plus while a radio feed is through Hawkeye All-Access; however, both are only available through paid subscriptions. Links for both as well as live stats can be found at UNLVRebels.com.

This is the first foray into the Hawkeye State for the Scarlet & Gray. In 50-plus years of playing baseball, UNLV has never played a game in the state of Iowa. Delving deeper, the Rebels have only played one Iowa-based squad in program history, and that was Iowa State in Las Vegas on March 28-30, 1980.
