LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The 46th-ranked UNLV women's tennis team blanked UC Riverside 4-0 on Saturday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The Rebels improved to 7-4, while the Highlanders fell to 1-6.

UNLV began the day by taking two doubles matches to secure the team point. Cristina Moroi and En-Pei Huang downed Sara Khattab and Lauren Wolfe 6-0 at No. 2 while Paola Artiga and Anna Bogoslavets defeated Tamilla Vaksman and Natalie Penner 6-1 at the third spot.

In singles, the Rebels won three matches to secure the win. Aiwen Zhu blanked Karla Dulay 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1; Huang beat Vaksman 6-2, 6-0 at No. 4; and Jovana Kenic finished off Natalie Penner 6-0, 6-0 on court five.

UNLV will return to action at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on Sunday when it hosts its first conference contest against Colorado State, starting with doubles play at 10 a.m. Admission to all UNLV home matches is free of charge.
