Rebels Open Conference Home Schedule Against Air Force Friday

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV baseball team (5-8) returns to Las Vegas and Earl E. Wilson Stadium for a five-game homestand (March 10-15) that begins Friday night against the Air Force Falcons. The Rebels will continue the Mountain West series with the Falcons Saturday and Sunday before playing a pair of nonconference affairs against the Grand Canyon Antelopes March 14-15.

The Scarlet & Gray are returning home after a four-game trip to the Bay Area. The first three contests kicked off MW play in San Jose against the San Jose State Spartans while the fourth was a nonconference tilt in Moraga at Saint Mary's.

TUNE IN, WATCH & LISTEN: All five games of the upcoming homestand -- vs. Air force (March 10-12) and vs. Grand Canyon (March 14-15) -- will be streamed free of charge via the Mountain West Network. Additionally, links for live stats as well as the video streams can be found at UNLVRebels.com.

March 10-12 -- Military Appreciation Series: Two (2) free tickets with military I.D.

Friday, March 10: First 500 fans through the stadium gates will receive a free Rebel Baseball camo t-shirt; $1 beers for the 600 pours courtesy of Miller-Coors and the UNLV Baseball Club.

Tuesday, March 14 -- $2 Tuesday: Tickets and hot dogs are $2 apiece; beer will be discounted $2.

GET YOUR TICKETS: Fans can purchase tickets for $5 online and in advance at UNLVTickets.com. Tickets purchased at the Wilson Stadium box office are $8 for adults, $6 for senior/faculty/staff, while kids 12 and under as well as UNLV students are free.

ON DECK: With the conclusion of the five-game homestand, UNLV will hit the road for five straight. The Rebels will return to the Golden State, March 17-19, for three in Mountain West play against the San Diego State Aztecs. The Scarlet & Gray will venture to the plains of West Texas for a two-game midweek series, March 21-22, at Texas Tech, which is ranked as high as No. 6 in D1Baseball.com's Top 25 Poll.

THE FIRST PITCH COACHES SHOW: The third installment of "The First Pitch with Stan Stolte and Dug Dugless" radio show will take place Wednesday (tomorrow) from noon to 1:00 pm at Hatari Restaurant & Sports inside The Boulevard (3528 S. Maryland Parkway). The hour-long program that airs on NBC Sports Radio -- 920 The Game is scheduled to continue five more times (April 5, 12 and 19; May 3 and 17).
