LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV baseball team closes out its four-game homestand with a Tuesday night affair with the Arizona State Sun Devils. First pitch is slated for 6:05 pm between the Rebels and Sun Devils at Earl E. Wilson Stadium.
The two squads have already squared off twice this season with both of those contests taking place in the Grand Canyon State at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. The host Sun Devils won both meetings, 5-4 on March 28 and 5-3 on April 11.

Tuesday, April 18 - "$2 Tuesday": Fans can purchase tickets and hot dogs for $2 apiece while beer will be discounted by $2.
ON DECK: The UNLV baseball team hits the road this weekend (April 21-23) for a three-game, Mountain West series against the New Mexico Lobos in Albuquerque, N.M. All three contests will be streamed via the Mountain West Network as well as on ESPN Radio 101.7 The Team. Links for the stream and radio feed will be provided at UNLVRebels.com.
ALTERNATING HOME & AWAY: Following Tuesday night's game with Arizona State, the UNLV baseball team will alternate its remaining series on the road or at home. In all, the Rebels have six more series - a total of 17 games - beginning with a road trip to New Mexico (April 21-23) and ending with San Jose State (May 18-20) at home.
In between the UNM and SJSU series is a midweek set (two games) vs. Portland (April 25-26) that will be followed by Seattle (April 28-30/road), Fresno State (May 5-7/home) and Nevada, Reno (May 12-14/road).
NATIONALLY SPEAKING: The UNLV baseball team has scattered 414 hits and, in turn, produced a .303 batting average to rank eighth and 26th nationally, respectively, in those two categories. The hit haul ranks first in the Mountain West, while the average is fourth best in the Conference.
Due to their hit total, the Rebels sit 61st in slugging percentage (.432) and 94th in on-base percentage (.372). Their 14 triples have them sitting 14th while their 73 doubles place them at No. 36.
The Scarlet & Gray also sits 84th in runs scored with 218 while it is 122nd in scoring with an average of 5.7 runs per game.
Individually, Ernie De La Trinidad comes in seventh in hit-by-pitch (14), 61st in triples (three), 72nd in on-base percentage (.466), 110th in hits (49) and 135 in batting average (.360).
Payton Squier sits 50th nationally in hits (52) and ranks as the eighth toughest batter to strike out (21.6).
Kyle Isbel is tied with De La Trinidad in hits at No. 110 with 49, but also comes in 117th in runs (33).
