LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Lisa Dodd has resigned as head softball coach at UNLV, Director of Athletics Desiree Reed-Francois said Tuesday.
"We appreciate Coach Dodd's five years of service at UNLV and her contributions in leading our student-athletes," Reed-Francois said. "We wish her the absolute best in the future."
Dodd, who led the Rebel softball program since the 2013 season, had a career head coaching record of 121-147 at UNLV, including 49-65 in Mountain West play. The Rebels went 25-27 (8-16 MW) this season.
"I want to thank UNLV for giving me my first opportunity to be a head coach," Dodd said. "I am grateful for the support I received during my time as a Rebel."
A national search will commence immediately for Dodd's replacement.
