LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's soccer team opened its 2019 spring schedule Friday morning with a match against the Las Vegas Lights, the first of six games this spring for the Rebels. The Rebels played the Lights close before the USL squad scored a pair of goals in the final 17 minutes for a 3-1 victory, with sophomore Marco Gonzalez providing the goal for UNLV. Friday's game was played at Cashman Field.

UNLV will play a pair of home games in the month of March. First will be a match with Dixie State on Sunday, March 3 at 11 am, while UNLV will also host Austin Bold of the USL Monday, March 11 at 7 pm. Both games will be played at Peter Johann Memorial Field, and admission is free for both contests.

The month of April will have the Rebels on the road Saturday, April 6, for a double-header against the host UC Irvine Anteaters and a neutral contest against University of Redlands. Both start times are TBA at this point. UNLV will end the spring with a home game at Johann Field against the BYU club team Saturday, April 13 at 12 pm.
