STAT OF THE GAME: Fresno State shot 59.3 percent from the field in the first half, including 8 of 14 on 3-pointers, taking a 45-33 halftime lead.

WITHIN FIVE: UNLV used a 9-3 run to cut its deficit to five points with 13 minutes to go, then trailed again by five (55-50) at the 12 minute mark but couldn't get closer.

QUOTABLE: "You have to give Fresno State credit. Those guys were incredible tonight. Their offensive transition was phenomenal in the first half. Some nights you have to just take the hit and go back and evaluate what you have to do better. I am obviously disappointed on the heels of playing a really good game on the road and then not being able to build on it. I thought we did some good things in the second half. We improved in some areas, but went backwards in others." - UNLV head coach Marvin Menzies.

NOTES:
- In his last two games, Robotham has dished out 17 assists with just one turnover.
- This was Fresno State's seventh straight win against UNLV and fourth in a row against the Runnin' Rebels at the Thomas & Mack Center.
- UNLV was out-rebounded for just the fifth time all season.
- Fresno State used an 11-2 run to take a 74-59 lead with four minutes to play.
- UNLV has made at least one 3-pointer in a NCAA-record 1,062 straight games.
