LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV women's tennis senior Anna Bogoslavets has been named the Outstanding Rebel of the Week, the school announced Wednesday. 

The award goes to the student-athlete who turned in the best individual performance during the previous week of competition from Monday through Sunday as voted on by the UNLV Athletic Communications department.

Bogoslavets, a native of Kiev, Ukraine, won the clinching singles match in UNLV's road victory over San Diego State last weekend, giving the Rebels a 4-3 win. The senior rallied after losing the first set against Magda Aubets to win 5-7, 6-4, 6-2. With the match tied at three between two first-place teams, Bogoslavet's victory sealed the Rebel win and the Mountain West West Division crown. Bogoslavets finished 4-0 against Mountain West opponents during her senior campaign.

The Rebels have a bye during the final weekend of the regular season, then will head to San Diego for the Mountain West Championships, April 25-28.
