Rebels Suffer 3-0 Setback To Utah Valley

UNLV opens the MW season Friday against Utah State

UNLV women's soccer gave up an early goal and never recovered, falling 3-0 to Utah Valley Sunday afternoon in the team's final non-conference contest of the regular season. 

The Wolverines notched the game's first goal in the 7th minute, then took advantage of a defensive misplay in the 51st minute for a 2-0 advantage. The final goal came in the 69th minute. UNLV was outshot 16-12 for the game, 7-4 on shots on goal, while both teams finished with four corner kicks each.

UNLV will open Mountain West play Friday night at 7 pm against the Utah State Aggies.
