FORT COLLINS, Colo. (UNLVRebels.com) - Sophomore guard Bryce Hamilton scored a game-high 28 points and junior forward Donnie Tillman added 15, but the UNLV men's basketball team (11-12, 6-4) lost 95-77 at Colorado State Saturday afternoon.

It was the Rams' sixth-straight home victory and the team's seventh win in its last eight games overall.

STAT OF THE GAME: The Rams shot 64.7 percent from 3-point range (11 of 17) and 61.5 percent from the field overall (32 of 52). Stevens was 7 of 8 from the field, including 5 of 5 on 3-pointers. UNLV shot just 42 percent from the field and 31.3 percent on 3-pointers.

MOMENTUM SWING: UNLV used an 8-0 run to take a 33-25 lead with 3:39 left in the first half, but the Rams outscored the Runnin' Rebels 16-3 the rest of the half, including 8-0 over the final 1:20 to take a 41-36 lead at the break.

PULLED AWAY: CSU increased its lead to double digits seven minutes into the second half and UNLV could not get closer than nine the rest of the way.

QUOTABLE: "I thought our guys did a good job of getting out to the start we needed. We were up 33-25, they call a timeout, we were in control of the basketball game and from there it went south in a hurry. I thought our focus defensively really left us. We knew he had to guard the 3-point line, we knew we had to guard them in transition and when they got it going we couldn't turn them off." - UNLV head coach T.J. Otzelberger
