STOCKTON, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's soccer team found the back of the net first on Sunday night at Knoles Field, but Pacific netted two unanswered goals to sink the Rebels, 2-1, in their final non-conference road test. The match concluded a four-game road trip in the Golden State for the Rebels (3-3), who split this weekend's games which also included a win Friday over Sacramento State.

Marco Gonzalez from the right side. Pacific (4-1), however, didn't wait too long to get on the board after facing a 1-0 deficit, as the Tigers scored their first goal in the 30th minute and then went on to add the only goal of the second half in the 64th minute.
Notwithstanding the late goal allowed, UNLV continued to create chances on its attacking side of the field through the final whistle, firing away six of its game-high 13 shots in the final frame, but the Tiger defenders diverted each of the Rebels' comeback attempts.
The Rebels now return home to Vegas to host UC Irvine in the Johann Memorial Classic game for their final non-conference game next Sunday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m. PT. Tickets can be purchased at
