LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV volleyball's Chloe Thomas was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week for the second time this season, the league announced Monday.

Thomas, a 6-1 middle blocker from Allen, Texas, helped the Rebels to their fifth straight win and a 4-0 record last week during their New York road trip with a victory at Colgate then three straight sweeps against Niagara, Cornell and Bucknell to take the Cornell Invitational crown.

She recorded 25 kills with just five errors, hitting .339 for the week. Thomas also tallied nine total blocks (two block solos and seven block assists).

Against Niagara, she had seven kills with no errors, hitting .538, and she had nine kills with just two errors, hitting .318 at Colgate.
