LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV men's soccer will make stops at Saint Mary's and Cal this weekend to open a stretch of four straight road contests it is scheduled to play in the Golden State.
The Rebels begin the weekend Friday at 4 p.m. against a Gaels (1-1) squad from the West Coast Conference receiving votes in the national rankings. The Scarlet and Gray will then conclude the trip with Sunday's 1 p.m. matchup with the Golden Bears (0-1-1) from the Pac-12.

NEWS & NOTES:
- UNLV is off to its first 2-0 start since the 2018 season after back-to-back 2-1 victories in its season opener at Gonzaga and home opener vs. UC San Diego. The Rebels started 3-0 that year.
- Each of the Rebels' wins on the opening week of play came off late scores, as it received game-winning goals from senior Marco Gonzalez in the 85th minute against the Zags and senior Aedon Kyra in the 89th minute vs. the Tritons.
- Senior Nicolas Likulia, a transfer from Evansville, has tallied UNLV's opening goal in his first two outings as a Rebel and leads the squad in scores (2) and points (4).
- The Rebels return defender Billy Jones and midfielder Bailey Letherman, who were both named WAC Second Team All-Conference in 2020.
- Additionally, the Scarlet and Gray welcome back WAC All-Conference honorable mention selections Claudio Gabriel and goalkeeper Miguel Duenas Jr., as well as All-Freshman Team honoree Louis Hiepen from last season.
- Head coach Rich Ryerson is in his 12th year as leader of the Rebel men's soccer program.
