Netters Begin Play At California Event

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - A contingent from the UNLV men's tennis team opened play Friday at the Rancher Invitational being held this weekend at the North Ranch Country Club.
 
The Rebels dropped their only doubles match vs. a duo from Hawai'i and were swept in singles by players from San Diego State.
 
Zac Brodney lost 6-4, 7-6 to Johannes Seeman, Milos Dabic dropped a heartbreaker to Joe Tyler, 5-7, 6-4, 7-5, and Milos Dabic fell to Victor Castro in straight sets.
 
The tournament runs through Sunday and includes players from UNLV, San Diego State, Pepperdine, Nebraska, Loyola Marymount and Hawai'i.
