LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's tennis team started its Saturday off strong by blanking New Mexico State 4-0 in the first of two matches scheduled at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
The Rebels improved to 2-0 while the Aggies fell to 2-1 on the young season.
The hosts bolted to a 1-0 lead by taking both completed doubles matches for one point.
In singles, Milos Dabic, Jordan Sauer and Christopher Bulus all won in straight sets to end things.
REBEL OF THE MATCH: Milos Dabic won his doubles match, 6-3, along with partner Zac Brodney and then was first off in singles with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Gijs Akkermans on court four.
UP NEXT: UNLV completes a doubleheader on Saturday by hosting UC Riverside starting at 2 pm.
