LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV volleyball team (21-3, 12-1 MW) absolutely dominated Air Force (12-14, 4-10 MW) in three sets Thursday evening at the Cox Pavilion. The Rebels also took the win over the Falcons earlier this season (Oct. 8) in five sets at the Cadet East Gym.
This win marks the 12th win in a row for the Scarlet & Gray who took the win over Air Force in a quick three set sweep by scores of 25-17, 25-16 and 25-23.
REBEL OF THE MATCH: Redshirt junior Isabel Martin recorded a match-high 14 kills and 12 digs, she also tacked on a match-high 15.5 points.
UNLV was led by graduate student Jhenna Gabriel's double-digit outing with a match-high 34 assists, followed by sophomore Isha Knight with 11 digs and freshman Maya Sands with 10 digs.
Leading the squad in attack efficiency was Martin and junior Gabrielle Arretche-Ramos who hit for .367 and .269, respectively. The hitting contest went to UNLV as they outhit the Falcons .224 to .083.
UP NEXT: The Rebels will take on New Mexico at Cox Pavilion Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.

- Dating back to 2019, UNLV has gone 78-15 in its last 93 matches. The Rebels have won 21 of 24 matches this season and 47 of its last 56.
- UNLV returned eight letterwinners this season. Also returning to the squad from last season were Gabrielle Arretche-Ramos, Arien Fafard, Jordyn Freeman, Chloe Thomas, Isha Knight, Keyana Cruse, Dakota Quinlan, Livvy Setla, Isabel Martin and Thea Sweder. There are eight newcomers, which include three freshmen, a trio of transfers and a pair of graduate transfers.
- UNLV is led by fifth-year head coach Dawn Sullivan, who looks to guide her squad to the postseason for the fifth straight season.
- Junior Arien Fafard had her 1,000th career assist during the opening weekend of the Rebels' 2022 campaign at UNT.
- The Rebels defeated No. 19 Kansas on September 10, 2022, making that the second win over a ranked team since 2016. The first being then No. 25 Washington State during the fall 2021 season at the Rebel Challenge (Sept. 4, 2021).
- Head Coach Dawn Sullivan notched 100 wins during the match against then MW leaders San Jose State, 3-1.
