LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's tennis team breezed to a 6-1 win over UC San Diego to complete a Saturday doubleheader sweep at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
The Rebels improved their record at 10-9 while the Tritions fell to 5-13.
The hosts won two of three doubles matches to earn a 1-0 lead.
In singles, UNLV posted four straight-setters and then a three-set win on court six to take five of six points.

Jordan Sauer teamed with
Jackson Atherton to gut out a 7-6 (9-7) tiebreaker win at the top doubles spot and then downed Pelayo Rodriguez, 7-6 (1), 6-3, at the No. 1 singles position.
NEXT UP: The Rebels will close their nonconference season by hosting a just-added match vs. UC Riverside on Tuesday starting at 11 am. Admission to all matches is free of charge.
